USE CASES

SMART CITIES APPLICATIONS
Carbon ash and seaweed-derived materials can support smart city infrastructure by strengthening low-carbon construction materials and enabling circular reuse pathways. Potential applications include cement and concrete enhancement, pothole repair and road resurfacing mixes, modular seaweed bricks/blocks, and integration opportunities with clean-energy buildouts such as solar infrastructure.
CARBON ASH PATHWAY
We convert processed biomass into carbon-rich ash or char that can be used as a blend component or additive in construction materials. Depending on feedstock and processing conditions, this material may support applications such as cement blends, concrete additives, bricks, blocks, or other engineered building products—where performance, consistency, and compliance are critical.

What it is
(turn processed biomass into carbon-rich ash/char for blends/additives)

How it Works
(pre-treatment → thermal conversion → conditioning → testing → blending)

Reality Checks
(salt/sand contamination, standards testing, local code acceptance)
TURNING SARGASSUM INTO CLEAN FUELS (JET FUEL + HYDROGEN)
Puerto Rico gets hit with huge waves of sargassum. Instead of treating it like trash, we can collect it and turn it into fuel.
WHAT WE COULD MAKE:
BIOFUEL PROCESS
ADDITIONAL $8M EBITDA P/A AS NEXT STAGE
Captured sargassum biomass may be selectively valorized into secondary products such as construction materials or energy-related outputs, including bioenergy applications, where local conditions justify additional investment.
These pathways are optional enhancements and are not required for Phase 1 operational success. All biomass valorization initiatives are evaluated case-by-case and subject to environmental review and lifecycle impact assessment.
